


We welcome you at Les Estables in the highest hotel of the Massif Central, in peaceful surroundings and in a landscape of low mountain range. The Massif of Mézenc, in the south-east of the Auvergne and Massif Central, is in an exceptional setting to practise in summer, in spring or in autumn hiking or walking, cycling or mountain bike, paragliding... and in winter, on the nordic skiing domain of Mezenc, the cross-country skiing, the snowshoeing, the dog sledding...
Our speciality is the organisation of single centre guided holidays or self-guided holidays : walking and hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing. After a day of activities supervised by ourselves, you will be able to relax at the hotel in our indoor swimming pool, in summer or in winter, or in the sauna. For the guided holidays, we'll transport you in our minicoach and we'll collect you at the railway station if you come by train.
In holiday in our little mountain hotel, you will be able to discover a short distance away theArdeche, the Sources and Gorges of the Loire River, the first castles of the Loire River, the historical town of Le Puy en Velay and its cathedral listed in the World Heritage of Humanity, the panoramas of Les Boutieres as far as the Alps, the 500 volcanoes of Velay - Vivarais, traditional farms with stones roofs and thatched roofs...

(07/06/2013)we stayed for 7 days we are from Ireland and speak only a little French We were made very welcome the food was excellent the walking was varied and enjoyable The hotel staff are very caring the guided walks were educational and the guide Alex was exceptional in explaining the Flora Fauna and rock formations This is our second visit to the hotel the last was over 6 years ago and the facilities have improved since then The hotel is friendly and family run...all the comments
