High plains of Mézenc
Follow your hosts on the Nordic skiing area of Les Estables on cross-country skis. At the heart of the Mézenc massif, you will be surprised by the vast expanses of land and the wilderness of the high plains and surrounding peaks. 5 and a half days of cross-country skiing. Depending on the weeks : 1 or 2 groups of level.

You return to the hotel for lunch, except on one day when you have lunch at an inn.
You will go on a tour of the high plateaux of Mézenc and Ardèche. You will discover the "sucs", characteristic volcanoes of our region; you will also appreciate the numerous superb views of the surrounding mountain ranges: the Alps of course, but also the Cantal and Sancy ranges, Mont Lozère, Massif du Pilat and Forez, that is to say, nearly all the Massif Central.
Some weeks : 2 groups of different level : beginners and intermediate.
Some weeks : only 1 intermediate group : for false beginners and confident intermediate skiers.
In the evening, after the activities, relax in the sauna, bathe in the indoor heated swimming pool opposite the snow, play billiards or ping-pong, etc…
Length of stay: 7 days/7 nights, Saturday to Saturday.

Our prices include :
- full board,
- use of the hotel's facilities: swimming pool, sauna, games room, fitness room, etc,
- the loan of cross-country skiing equipment (skis, poles and shoes) and the snowshoeing equipment (raquettes, poles, but not the boots - bring hiking boots),
What you don't pay for :
- guides on the cross-country skiing or snowshoe treks,
- transport during your stay for the organized activities,
- hotel car-park.
What you pay for :
- the station (Le Puy en Velay) to hotel shuttle service on a fixed timetable : € 14 per passenger (please enquire for train timetables and for booking at least one week in advance),
- ski pass ( 31 € per week per adult),
- drinks at the hotel bar and during meals, extras,
- visitor's tax (after January 1st, 2012) : € 0.60 per person per day for adults and children over 13.
