The « Sucs » of the Mezenc and Gerbier de Jonc
Snowshoe tours around the foot of the Mézenc massif and Gerbier de Jonc, the sources of the Loire and the Ardèche plateau. Five and a half days of snowshoeing. The lunch is at the hotel, except once, when it is in a characteristic inn.

The topography, characterized by high plateaux dotted with volcanoes called "sucs", affords you numerous and spectacular views of the surrounding massifs : the Alps of course, but also the Cantal and the Sancy mountains, Mount Lozère, the Pilat massif and the Forez mountains, in fact nearly all the Massif Central.
In the evening, after your snowshoe trek, relax in the sauna, bathe in the indoor heated swimming pool opposite the snow, play billiards or ping-pong, etc .
Length of stay: 7 days/7 nights, Saturday to Saturday.
Period : 6 weeks, in January, February and March 2012.

Two-week stay (with a cross country skiing stay) :
discount 5 % for the 2 weeks.
Discount for the children in the parents' room : children over 12 years : - 20 %
Our prices include :
- full board,
- use of the hotel's facilities: swimming pool, sauna, games room, fitness room, etc,
- the loan of snowshoeing equipment (TSL 225 or 205 type shoes and sticks, but not the boots, bring hiking boots),
What you don't pay for :
- guides on the snowshoe treks,
- transport during your stay for the organized activities,
- hotel car-park.
What you pay for :
- the station (Le Puy en Velay) to hotel shuttle service on a fixed timetable : 14 € per passenger (please enquire for train timetables and for booking at least one week in advance),
- drinks at the hotel bar and during meals, extras,
- visitor's tax (after January 1st, 2012) : € 0.60 per person per day for adults and children over 13.
