Snowshoeing / cross-country skiing / biathlon in Mézenc
Enjoy Christmas or the New Year on a skiing holiday! For the occasion, we suggest a combination of activities: cross-country skiing (2 and a half days), snow-shoeing (2 and a half days) and a very enjoyable introduction to the biathlon (half a day). You return to the hotel for lunch, except on one day when you have lunch at an inn.

You'll discover the high plateaux of Mézenc and Ardèche on snowshoes and cross-country skis. Each activity will take you to different places and discover the "sucs", characteristic volcanoes of our region; you will also appreciate the numerous superb views of the surrounding mountain ranges: the Alps of course, but also the Cantal and Sancy ranges, Mont Lozère, Massif du Pilat and Forez, that is to say, nearly all the Massif Central.
In the evening, after the activities, relax in the sauna, bathe in the indoor heated swimming pool opposite the snow, play billiards or ping-pong, etc.
Length of stay: 7 days/7 nights, Sunday to Sunday.

Discount for the children in the parents' room : children over 12 years : - 20 %
Our prices include :
- full board,
- use of the hotel's facilities: swimming pool, sauna, games room, fitness room, etc,
- the loan of cross-country skiing equipment ("fish scales" classic skis, poles and shoes) and the snowshoeing equipment (raquettes, poles, but not the boots - bring hiking boots),
- the Christmas Day and New Year's Day dinners.
What you don't pay for :
- guides on the cross-country skiing or snowshoe treks,
- the biathlon introduction,
- transport during your stay for the organized activities,
- hotel car-park.
What you pay for :
- the station (Le Puy en Velay) to hotel shuttle service on a fixed timetable : € 14 per passenger (please enquire for train timetables and for booking at least one week in advance),
- ski pass (€ 7.20 for the day),
- drinks at the hotel bar and during meals, extras,
- visitor's tax (after January 1st, 2012) : € 0.60 per person per day for adults and children over 13.
Visitor's tax before December 31st, 2011 : € 0.40 per person per day
